Mendoza as a Benchmark

In the last 10 years, Mendoza has doubled its production; it currently exports to 130 countries and is Argentina’s fourth-largest province in crude oil and gas extraction. Its privileged geopolitical location on the central bioceanic corridor, with air and land connectivity, is a key asset. This is complemented by a dynamic business sector, public-private coordination, and judicial independence—pillars of the great potential for development and growth projected for the coming years.

Mendoza is a leader in renewable energy, with 12 hydroelectric plants currently providing 1,410 megawatts of power. At present, projects for 6 photovoltaic plants, 4 mini-hydro plants, and one wind farm are under development. Additionally, the province has 18 industrial parks, one technology park, and one biotechnology park. Its qualified human capital, supported by 8 public and private universities with approximately 70,000 students, serves as a key success factor for local ventures in energy, oil, technology, metalworking, and mining, among other sectors.
