THIS IS THE FOURTH EDITION OF THE EVENT WHICH IS OBJECTIVE TO GENERATE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES THAT RESULT IN MORE FORMAL EMPLOYMENT AND DEMAND FOR SMES. IT WILL BE HELD ON MARCH 3, 2023 IN MENDOZA.
The fourth edition of the Mendoza 2023 Investment and Business Forum was presented this week in Buenos Aires. In a joint effort between the Government of Mendoza and the Mendocino Business Council (CEM), the meeting was presented that seeks to contribute to the promotion of Mendoza as a investment destination in strategic areas, allowing potential national and foreign investors to see first-hand the opportunities offered by our province.
The Minister of Economy and Energy, Enrique Vaquié, representing the provincial Executive and Eduardo Pulenta, president of the CEM, offered a few words before an audience of more than 80 people.
The presentation of the Mendoza 2023 Investment and Business Forum was in charge of the general manager of the Mendocino Business Council, Silvia Jardel and the chief of staff of the Ministry of Economy and Energy of Mendoza, Facundo Biffi.
The Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Hernán Araujo, also attended, whose organization also collaborated in the design of the forum.
Among those present were ambassadors, commercial attachés and officials from several countries and representatives of binational chambers.
Silvia Jardel explained that “the objective was to show Mendoza as a region of the country where interest in investment and the constant improvement of the business climate occupy a very important place for both the Government and the private sector.”
In addition, from the organization they explained that the program and the dynamics planned for the Mendoza 2023 Investment and Business Forum were explained, highlighting that “contact with local officials and businessmen will be facilitated, so that national and foreign investors receive qualified information about Mendoza, establishing links in an agile and direct way”.
“With this fourth forum we are heading to lay the foundations of an event that must transcend the vicissitudes of time and changes in government, strengthening a public-private relationship tending basically to promote and concretize investments and businesses,” Jardel pointed out.
Vaquié, meanwhile, in his speech, provided details of the Mendoza Activa program and its scope. “The province invests in its strategic sectors, to take care of Mendoza, supporting and promoting those who believe and bet with their daily work on the growth of Mendoza,” he said.
