The second day of the 6th Mendoza Investment & Business Forum brought together over 800 participants in an event defined by public-private collaboration. Business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors gathered at the Hilton Hotel to explore ventures and strengthen the local economic ecosystem.
A major highlight was the Innova Invest initiative, which connected Mendoza-based entrepreneurs with investment funds and accelerators, cementing the Forum’s role as a vital hub for strategic alliances. Martín Clément, President of CEM, highlighted the event’s positive impact and the synergy between the public and private sectors, emphasizing that this cooperation serves as a competitive advantage for Mendoza. The presence of national officials, such as Minister of Economy Luis Caputo, reinforced the Forum’s national significance, showcasing the alignment between national and provincial governments and the business sector.
The panel discussions saw high attendance, addressing critical topics such as foreign investment in IMPSA, the evolution of the wine industry, and the challenges of the energy transition. Additionally, a conference on fiscal transparency and the municipal business climate showcased strategies to attract investment and reduce bureaucratic barriers, featuring the Mayor of Mendoza and experts from the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank).
Sector-specific investment tables were also a success, featuring debates on tourism, mining, energy, healthcare, and sustainable construction. For instance, the synergy between tourism and mining opened new opportunities for developing tourism products in former mines and attracting corporate visitors. With the participation of leading business figures and investment funds, the Forum concluded with a positive outlook, solidifying its position as a driver for regional growth and innovation.
